This is a collective action pending in the Southern District of Texas, Houston Division, seeking recovery of overtime for hours worked over 40 by mortgage loan officers employed by First United Bank & Trust Company.

In this lawsuit, the Buenker Law Firm representa mortgage loan officer who worked more than 40 hours per week but was not paid overtime.  First United Bank & Trust Company did not accurately track their employees’ time, and did pay them overtime pay when they worked more than 40 hours per week.  But the law does not recognize mortgage loan officers as exempt from overtime.  This company refuses to pay overtime and this lawsuit seeks damages related to that illegal pay policy.
